It's time for the annual McKay Elementary Wolf Run!!! This is one of our largest fundraisers and one students look forward to the most. With the help of our McKay staff, students earn money by running laps around the McKay “track”. Students will have 30 minutes to run as many laps as possible. Students get pledges or donations from family, friends, neighbors or businesses to support their efforts. Donors can either pledge a certain amount of money per lap or make a flat donation in support of our school. Donations are tax deductible. Thank you in advance!

Your support allows the PTC to start/continue to fund great programs and events at McKay, such as:

After School Program, Art Literacy, Carnival, Celebrate Reading, Color Copies, Culture Week/Night, Enrichment Field Trips, Math and Science Night, Passport Club, Playground Equipment, School Spirit (e.g., T-Shirts), School Treats and Parties, Staff Appreciation, Student Directory, Student Scholarships

Teacher Mini Grants, Winter Celebration, 5th Grade Grad Celebration

How do I get pledges? Ask friends and family! There are two ways to manage pledges: the online PledgeStar’s service or paper form. If using PledgeStar, register your child at https://pledgestar.com/mckay/a/familyinstructions.html and follow the simple registration steps. It takes just minutes to set-up your child’s own fundraising page to request pledges. Pledges should be secured prior to the Wolf Run on November 5th. If using the paper form, please print the provided sheet below. The form is due (with pledge funds) by November 12th.

Prizes will be earned for raising money:

  • For participating, receive a McKay Wolf Run T-Shirt.

  • For every $25 raised, receive a raffle ticket to be entered in a drawing to win one of a ton of great prizes such as Nike basketballs, Nike drawstring bags, Nike water bottles, Nike footballs, ect.

  • Classrooms with 100% donation ($1 or more) participation, receive a donut party.
