Virtual Wolf RUN!!

November 9th - 15th 2020

It is again time for one of our largest Fundraiser of the year!  The WOLF RUN!!!  Year in and year out, this event has been one of the students favorites!  Last year we raised $12,600 to support our student events, activities, field trips and so much more!

The 2020 Wolf Run is going to look a little different than in the past as we are going virtual. Here are the details:

  1. Every participant will receive a 2020 Virtual Wolf Run t-shirt!

  2. Register your child at and follow the simple registration steps. It takes just minutes to set-up your child’s own fundraising page to request pledges.  You do not have to use the online version, paper is always welcome (Email for paper requests).

  3. Students can get pledges from family, friends, neighbors or businesses to support their efforts. Donors can either pledge a dollar amount of money per minute, or make a flat donation in support of our school.  How many minutes can a student run/walk?  Good question!  Perhaps have your student set a goal and let donors know that goal to help with pledge planning.

  4. Pledges/$$ will be raised by running or walking cumulative minutes over a 7 day period.

  5. Students will have from November 9th to November 15th to complete their running/walking goals. This is a virtual event, so parents/guardians will need to help students get out running/walking as well as track and submit their minutes.

  6. We have some great prizes from Nike again this year!  Water bottles, Basketballs, Footballs and more!  Participants will receive one raffle ticket for every $25 they raise.  Winners of prizes will be drawn from these raffle tickets!  The more raffle tickets earned, the better the chance of winning a prize!

Don’t forget to wear your Wolf Run t-shirt and snap some photos while running/walking!  Share your photos and tag @mckayschoolbsd, #mckaywolfrun on facebook in our private Mckay PTC group so we can cheer each other on as a community!  Our goal is to raise $10,000 this year to continue to support our students and staff with programs that include; Art Literacy, Celebrate Reading, Culture Week, Math and Science Night, Passport Club, Staff Appreciation, Teacher Mini Grants, 5th Grade Grad Celebration and so much more!

Please remember to wear a mask when needed and practice safe social distancing.
